Five photos of a naked Harvey Weinstein have been passed around to the New York jurors considering the sexual abuse case against the disgraced Hollywood producer.
The jurors were instructed to review each photo while holding them in a fashion where the crowd inside the courtroom couldn't get a look. Jurors No. 11 and 12 appeared to wince as they peered upon the images of a naked Weinstein.
Accuser Jessica Mann, who finished up her stint on the witness stand on Tuesday, had previously testified that Weinstein had deformed genitalia. According to her description, the former movie heavyweight is without "a working penis."
34-year-old Mann, in her second day of cross-examination, described the movie maker as "my rapist" before acknowledging that the two shared an on-and-off consensual sexual relationship after he twice sexually assaulted her in 2013.
"I know the history of my relationship ... it's complicated and it's difficult," Mann testified. "I don't need an excuse. I own my behaviour."
Defence lawyer Donna Rotunno, challenged Mann about accepting a Weinstein invitation to a specific event: "Did you know it would look bad for you if you went to an event on January 18th after you (claim) you were raped on January 4th?"
"Ma'am," the accuser replied, "this whole relationship was bad for me."
Meanwhile Italian actor Emanuela Postacchini testified that Harvey Weinstein pressured her and Mann to have a threesome in a Los Angeles hotel room in 2013.
Weinstein's efforts left Mann sobbing, before she eventually fled the room at the Montage hotel, Postacchini told the Court.
Postacchini said she'd arrived to meet Weinstein for a drink downstairs in the lobby bar, when he emailed her and asked her to come upstairs to his hotel suite.
"I did not have any idea that there would be a woman in the room," Postacchini testified, adding that she felt "tricked" by the situation.
The 67-year-old Weinstein, whose alleged predatory behaviour made him the poster boy for #MeToo outrage, was accused by some 90 women in recent years of varying degrees of sexual misconduct. If convicted in the Manhattan trial, he faces the possibility of life in prison.
Weinstein insisted his sexual relationships with the women were consensual.
