A cash injection to the Regional Employment Trials program will help job seekers in the Yorke and Mid North region.
Over $200,000 of annual funding has been allocated to the program until 2020 which has been labelled as vital to improving employment outcomes.
The Yorke Peninsula and Mid North have been identified as one of the 10 Australian regions targeted to improve employment outcomes.
The RET program provides a Local Employment Initiative Fund of $1 million by subsidising grants for local stakeholders for employment-related projects.
Member for Narungga, Fraser Ellis welcomes the funding initiative and says it will benefit those in the Yorke and Mid North region who have been struggling to find work.
