ANZAC Day Services Across the Region

File:2017 Anzac Day parade, Warwick 07.jpgANZAC Day services will take place from dawn right across the region tomorrow, commemorating the commitment and sacrifice of those who served in the First World War.

On the Yorke Peninsula services will be taking place in Kadina, Moonta, Wallaroo and Paskeville.

In the Goyder Region those wishing to attend a service can do so at Burra, Eudunda, Hallett, Robertstown and Terowie.

Further North services will be taking place in Jamestown, Crystal Brooke, Port Pirie, Koolunga, Port Augusta and Whyalla.

The full list of services around the region can be found below: 


Dawn Service at 6.15am at the WW1 Memorial, Centenary Park. Followed by a sausage sizzle at the RSL Hall.


Dawn Service at 6.30am at the War Memorial Gates by Oval. Followed by morning tea at the RSL Hall in Burton Street.


Anzac Service at 11am at the Centenary Park Memorial Gates, Weymouth Street, Manoora. Luncheon to follow at the Manoora Hall. If weather is inclement service will be held in Manoora Soldiers Memorial Supper Room at the Manoora Hall.


Dawn Service at 6.30am at the War Memorial outside the Mintaro Institute. Followed by breakfast (gold coin donation) at the Institute.


Service will commence at 6.30am, following the 6.15am march from IGA Supermarket to Scholz Park. Community breakfast available after the service.


Service to commence at 9.00 am at the Soldiers Memorial on Burra Road. Followed by morning tea in the Saddleworth Institute supper room.


Breakfast at Tarlee Hotel at 8.30am. Morning Service at 9.30am at the War Memorial. Refreshments will be available after the service at the Tarlee Hall.


Afternoon Service at 5.00pm at the War Memorial, gather at 4.45pm


8am service at War Memorial Gates in Fisher Street followed by breakfast


Meet 6:10am at the RSL Annex, Fifth Street to proceed Gladstone St Monument followed by gunfire breakfast.


11am service Gulnare Memorial Hall to be followed by a light lunch.


6:15am service at Memorial Park, followed by a breakfast at RSL.


6:50am service commences at Soap Shoppe corner, followed by breakfast.


6am service at RSL Hall followed by breakfast.


To be held with the Appila community, meet at the Appila Memorial Hall at 6:15am.


6.00am ANZAC March from Graves Street followed by a breakfast. The RSL Clubrooms in Taylor Street will also be open for light refreshments.


6.30am service at the War Memorial, Blanche Terrace followed by a breakfast. RSL Clubrooms in George Street will be open from 12.30pm for a BBQ lunch.


6.45am ANZAC March from the Wallaroo RSL Clubrooms and proceed to the Wallaroo Town Hall Memorial Arch, Dawn Service at 7.00am. Gun Fire Breakfast held at the RSL Clubrooms. 


ANZAC Day Service at 9.30am at the Memorial Arch, Paskeville. Morning Tea will be provided at the Paskeville Community Centre at the conclusion of the service.


6:30am service at the Rotunda, Market Square. Refreshments at the RSL/Burra Council Chambers after.


6:15am service at the Eudunda War Memorial. Refreshments at the RSL Clubrooms.


6:30am service at the Hallett Memorial Gardens, refreshments served at the Hallett Hall Supper Rooms afterwards.


9:30am Service at the Robertstown War Memorial, Sausage Sizzle to follow at the Robertstown Community Centre.


6:15am service at the Terowie War Memorial, followed by breakfast at the Terowie Supper Rooms.


6:30am Dawn Service at Gladstone Square, followed by a march at 10:30am. Light lunch at the RSL provided.


6.00am Dawn Service WWI Memorial Gates. Breakfast available afterwards at Port Pirie RSL.


8.00am Service at Mortimer Park. Morning tea afterwards at Redhill Comer Store


11.00am Service at the Koolunga Institute


6.00am Dawn Service, Adelaide Square. Breakfast available afterwards at the Crystal Brook RSL


3.00pm Service at the War Memorial at Wandearah Oval (Bring a plate to share)


6:10am Dawn Service, Memorial Oval Gates, 10:30am ANZAC Day March, down Essington Lewis Avenue, 10:50am Main ANZAC Day Service. Lunch available after the march, Whyalla RSL Club.
