A man has faced court after being arrested over a break-in at Port Augusta early yesterday morning.
Just before 3am Tuesday September 10, police responded to alarm activations at a hotel on Stirling Road.
Police patrols arrived within minutes and located a man still inside the kitchen area of the hotel. The man was subsequently arrested over the break-in.
Police will also allege that the man had gained entry to the same hotel the night before and stole wine.
A 34-year-old man from the Northern Territory was charged with two counts of serious criminal trespass and two counts of theft.
He was refused bail and appeared in the Port Augusta Magistrates Court yesterday.
