The upcoming 13th season of Port Augusta’s ‘Desert Fringe’s’ is just around the corner. Locals can expect to see circus acts, comedy, music, dance, visual art and free family entertainment across three days.
Adelaide Fringe Director and CEO Heather Croall believes that regional audiences have always been hugely supportive of Adelaide Fringe but due to location and long travel times, regional residents often miss out on the main event.
The Desert Fringe was created in an effort to bring a taste of the Adelaide Fringe to the doorstep of regional communities.
The event will offer various ticketed and free events, with performances from the likes of Jessie Lloyd and comedy set ‘Deadly Funny’ with comedians Kimberly Lovegrove, Dane Simpson and Fabian Woods.
The Desert Fringe starts Friday February 21st until the 23rd.
