The Port Augusta City Council are seeking the opinion of locals on Council’s 2019-2029 Strategic Directions Plan.
The plan is anticipated to guide the future aspirations of the city, whilst presenting a vision for the future of both Council and the Community.
Locals are invited to have their say on the new plan online or at various community consultation sessions, where Council’s 10-year plan and future directions will also be discussed.
The strategic planning framework has three levels:
- Long term Strategic Directions (nominally to 2029)
- Medium term (four years – Four Year Priority Action Plan)
- Annual (Annual Budget and Business Plan)
The next consultation session is set to be held this Saturday at the Barracks from 6.30pm – 7.30pm. Followed by a session held at Central Oval on Thursday the 27th February from 5.30pm-7.30pm in the Foyer area.
