The Clare Valley wine region is set to benefit from a $1 million dollar grant through the South Australian Wine Industry Development Scheme.
Applications for grants of up to $200,000 are available to assist with the economic growth of the wine industry, which has been hit hard by recent bushfires, smoke exposure and the evolving impacts of the Coronavirus.
“The $1 million program was designed to boost the wine industry across the supply chain.” According to Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development Tim Whetstone.
Mr Whetstone encourages industry bodies, regional associations, clusters of businesses and educational institutions across the wine industry supply chain to apply for the funding.
Applications will close at 5pm Tuesday the 14th of April.
